2 Brush Fires Contained In Pittsburg
Contra Costa County Fire Protection District crews quickly put out the blazes despite winds and dry fuel.

PITTSBURG, CA — A pair of brush fires that broke out in Pittsburg late Friday afternoon are under control, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District said via its Twitter account.
A vegetation fire in the area of West Leland and Golf Links roads in Pittsburg has been contained at about one acre.
"Another good stop despite winds and dry fuels," said the district's public information officer.

A second fire in the area of Carpino and 14th streets is also under control, the district said.
