Adolescent Girls Support Groups in Walnut Creek

We have several adolescent girls groups starting mid-October. These groups are designed to give girls an opportunity to feel connected and build self-esteem, while exploring issues related to social pressures and stresses, self-confidence and body appreciation, media influences and personal values, popularity, cliques, relationship aggression (bullying), fitting in, and school motivation.

We will focus on improving self-confidence, coping skills, resiliency, communication skills, positive emotional expression, and discover new ways to solve problems.

Age Range: Adolescent girls in middle & high school: ages 11-17. The groups will be divided according to age. An initial interview is required.

Cost: $50 per session (6 session commitment)

Groups are co-facilitated by Debra Frank, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Debbie Lindstrom, Licensed Educational Psychologist. Please check my website for a link to our flyer:
