Assistance League Thrift Shop Celebrates “Vintage”
Take advantage of this "something for everybody" event!
How appropriate that the dedicated member volunteers at Assistance League® Thrift Shop at the Wayside Inn, in Lafayette, are preparing for the ever-popular Vintage Event. Set your clocks and mark your calendars for Tuesday, June 8, at 10:00 am. sharp. This time-honored feat will conclude Saturday, June 19 at 3:00 pm.
The term “Vintage” refers to authentic items ranging from 20 to 99 years in age. This year’s inventory includes baby clothes, toys, framed art work, photos from previous decades, kitchen utensils and cookware, as well as books and dresses. Additional artifacts include child’s antique rattan rocker and prom dresses reminiscent of the 60’s.
When you enter this well-known landmark, notice a blend of historical significance and innovation, both of which make for relaxed shopping. (Please note that masks are required while shopping in and departing the thrift shop.)
