Authorities ID Body Found In Remote Contra Costa Co. Park Area
No information has been released about how the 35-year-old Brentwood man may have died.
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — The body discovered late Thursday afternoon in a remote part of John Henry Johnson Park just south of Pittsburg has been identified as 35-year-old Kyle Beard of Brentwood, the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office said Saturday.
A hiker discovered a man's body in a remote part of the park shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday, a sheriff's spokesman said. Sheriff's officials said Friday it appears the body had been there for a long time.
No information has been released about how Beard may have died.
