Authorities ID Motorcyclist Who Died In Highway 4 Crash
A 41-year-old man died at the scene of the collision on westbound SR-4 near Bay Point.
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — An Antioch man has been identified as a motorcyclist who died in a crash Friday afternoon on state Highway 4 in unincorporated Bay Point.
Michael Siscar, 41, was the lone rider on the motorcycle in the fatal incident reported at 1:43 p.m. Friday on westbound Highway 4, west of Bailey Road, according to the California Highway Patrol and Contra Costa County coroner's office.
"The rider lost control of the motorcycle and collided with the center median wall before being ejected from the motorcycle and colliding with the roadway," the CHP said.

CHP investigators were still looking into the collision and were not immediately able to determine whether alcohol or drugs may have been involved.
