City Of Martinez Seeks Video Entries For Virtual Fourth Of July

The city plans to show the video compilation July 4 on its social media pages and the city's website. But your videos are needed.

MARTINEZ, CA — Although the coronavirus has canceled the city's Fourth of July celebration, the city of Martinez Recreation Division has come up with another way to mark the occasion: A Fourth of July video to be shown on the city's website and social media pages at 9 p.m. Saturday, July 4.

The video will be a compilation of videos recorded by residents showing themselves or a group of family members saying "Happy 4th of July! From, (insert name/s here)."

Videos can be filmed on a cell phone, camcorder or any other recording device, with landscape (horizontal) view preferred.
