Contra Costa Judge Clare Maier Illegally evicting Lawful Tenants

On June 10th, 2021 Contra Costa County Sheriff performed an illegal eviction of tenants in Lamorinda.

The case was set for hearing on June 11, 2021 under Judge Clare Maier.

It is illegal to evict tenants in California prior to a set hearing date on this matter. But adhering to legal process wasn’t going to restrain unethical Judge Clare Maier.

What incentives would this dishonorable Judge Clare Maier of the Martinez Superior Court have to break the law and to not follow covid laws on protected tenants?

Assembly Bill 3088 is very clear on the laws and she is required to follow them, but she did not.

Although it was illegal for Contra Costa County sheriff to perform an eviction on June 10th 2021 - in advance of a hearing on this matter - which was scheduled for June 11, 2021. But that’s exactly what happened.

Judges should not be above the law and if these tenants legal rights are not protected, then what happens to everyone else’s? We can’t allow Judges to break the laws, and when they do so, is it done in exchange for favors or Judicial personal enrichment?

Despite the tenant properly filing and process serving his rightful legal possession rights, an irrational Judge Clare Maier would not even allow the tenant to speak up and to show his Court Filed CP10 papers - which were properly stamped by the Martinez Sheriff.

Judge Clare Maier was adamant about breaking the law. Maier was determined to allow this tort, and unswayed by the tenant and his evidence. Maier wouldn’t see the proofs and punished the tenant for bringing his evidence forth.

instead the judge reprimanded the tenant for attempting to show his evidence - and then threw the qualified tenant out of the zoom call - and went on to congratulate the landlord’s agent for a successful but illegally gained property possession, despite that being performed unlawfully, with Judge Clare Maier’s assistance.
