MARTINEZ, CA — Contra Costa Health Services is offering residents a real-time look at who's getting COVID-19 vaccines.
The newly launched Live Vaccine Dashboard shows the number of people who have received their first and second doses, and demographic information such as location, gender, age and ethnicity.
More than 65,000 COVID-19 vaccines have been administered so far to Contra Costa County residents, including 54,000 first doses and 11,000 second doses.

About 6 percent of the county's population 16 years and older have received at least the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

The county is working to expand its vaccination capacity, but Contra Costa Health Services and private providers are currently vaccinating anyone age 65 or older, though the supply is limited. Priority goes to higher-risk people, such as frontline medical workers, and residents and employees of senior care homes with at least 30 residents.
Appointments can be scheduled here, though they may be weeks away for some, according to the county.
There have been nearly 54,000 COVID-19 cases in Contra Costa County as of Thursday, including some 46,500 recovered cases and almost 500 deaths linked to the coronavirus.
