Marc Antony, Cleopatra: Where Have You Gone?

Marc Antony and Cleopatra were stolen from a Martinez home, but they can't be hard to spot. They're both over 8 feet tall, and bronze.

MARTINEZ - After two alleged burglaries within 24 hours, and the theft of a truck parked in the driveway, a homeowner in unincorporated Martinez must feel positively snake-bitten.

That's because one of the burglaries at the residence involved the disappearance of two separate eight-foot bronze statues, those of Cleopatra and Marc Antony.

Cleopatra, one is reminded, committed suicide by means of the bite of a venomous snake.
