Katharine Jondle: A resident of Martinez, Jondle passed away on June 26 at the age of 93 after a long and happy life. She worked as a school teacher and at Safeway.
William Nelson: A native of Martinez, Nelson was a 1979 graduate of College Park High in Pleasant Hill as well as a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Nelson passed away on June 26 at the age of 52.
William Scheuber: A resident of Martinez, Scheuber was the founder of the first doctor-owned insurance company in California. He was also the founding president of the Physician Insurers Association of America. Scheuber passed away on May 1 at the age of 94.
