Martinez Death Notices

Richard C. Skewis: A resident of Castro Valley, Skewis spent his childhood in Martinez. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a deputy probation officer for Alameda County for 28 years. Skewis passed away on July 8 at the age of 87.

Sam B. Soria: A resident of Antioch, Soria lived for many years in Martinez. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked at the C&H Sugar Co. in Crockett. Later, he owned a salon in Lafayette. Soria passed away on July 3 at the age of 82.
