POLICE LOG: Car Window Smashed; Suspected Squatters

Briefs from the Martinez Police Department logs for August 12:

• 6:28 a.m.: A resident just discovered that the driver side window of his car was smashed and his GPS unit was stolen.
• 7:45 a.m.: Someone dumped an 8-foot cabinet in front of Olde World Mill and Cabinet. The cabinet is filled with miscellaneous items, including mail.
• 12:03 p.m.: Suspects entered a vacant residence on Arnold Drive sometime over the weekend. The suspects were gone upon arrival. Nothing was missing from the apartment, but a few items were left behind.
