The breakfast run at Sunrise Donut on Arnold Drive was interrupted by a gunman Tuesday morning during a holdup. The gunman escaped with an unknown amount of money.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, standing about 5-foot-2, and with a mustache. He was reportedly wearing gloves, a green shirt and dark pants.
The shop owner tried to follow the suspect when he ran from the store, but lost sight of the gunman.
Calls to the Martinez Police Department requesting details were unanswered.
