Suspects Sought In Retail Thefts In Contra Costa, Nearby Counties
A trio suspected of stealing $4,000 in clothes from a Sonoma County store has been identified in thefts in three other counties, police say.
BAY AREA, CA — Police are seeking the public's help in identifying three women in connection with stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from retailers in four Bay Area counties: Sonoma, Napa, Solano and Contra Costa.
Petaluma police released surveillance images of the suspects and said the trio went into Kohl's on North McDowell Boulevard just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and stole $4,000 worth of clothing merchandise.
Police said the suspects grabbed the items and ran out of the store to a parked car described as a gray Chevy hatchback with an unknown California license plate number.

"The same suspects have been identified in thefts occurring in Pleasant Hill, Vallejo and Napa," Petaluma police said in a news release.
