These 4 Martinez Traffic Signals Have The Longest Delays

MARTINEZ, CA — Traffic: It's an unavoidable reality, but some Martinez intersections are worse than others, according to a recently released report.

INRIX analyzed traffic signal performance at intersections across the country, and found how much time traffic signals spend on green and times of peak demand.

Most intersections in Martinez are in the least-delayed green range, which indicates minimal delays of no longer than 20 seconds per car. Fortunately, no local intersections were in the most-delayed red range, which indicates cars may spend 55 seconds or more waiting at a light.

There were four intersections in the slower yellow range, which indicates cars may spend 20 to 35 seconds waiting at a red light, according to the INRIX report.

• Alhambra Avenue at state Highway 4 (56.1 percent on green; peak traffic Wednesday at 3:45 p.m.)
• Center Avenue at state Highway 4 (55 percent on green; peak traffic Saturday at 1:15 p.m.)
• Pine Street at state Highway 4 (53.1 percent on green; peak traffic Saturday at 1:15 p.m.)
• Arnold Drive and Morello Avenue (42.5 percent on green; peak traffic Thursday at 12:45 p.m.)
