Caltrain Strikes, Hospitalizes Pedestrian On Peninsula Tracks
More than 600 passengers were delayed Sunday by the incident. No one onboard was hurt.

MENLO PARK, CA -- A person on rail tracks in Menlo Park was transported to the hospital upon being struck by Caltrain No. 801 heading northbound on Sunday.
Emergency personnel responded to the 10:17 a.m. incident that temporarily delayed the train with 615 passengers on board. No one was hurt on the train.
The southbound track was cleared to move at maximum speed in about an hour. Within two hours, the northbound train was released to depart from the Peninsula city.

The incident prompted transit officials to put out a warning for pedestrians to be "safe around train tracks."
