“Menlo Park, its neighboring cities and the County of San Mateo have a long history of working together to resolve problems,” said Mayor Ohtaki. “We face significant challenges in tackling the improvements to the infrastructure to prevent future flooding of San Francisquito Creek, the ongoing need to add affordable housing stock in the county, and strategies to meet the stringent waste management targets. I believe we are fortunate to have a leader like Warren Slocum as an advocate for the people of Menlo Park. We can work together to find new approaches to these longstanding issues.”

Slocum complimented both the Mayor and the City saying, “Menlo Park is a wonderfully livable city with a certain small town charm. It’s a great place to raise a family and a great location for small business. It’s a tribute to your leadership and to your legacy.”

No appointments are required to meet with Supervisor Slocum or Mayor Ohtaki, but if desired, they can be made through Marci Dragun, Legislative Aide to Supervisor Slocum. Dragun can be reached at (650) 363-4570 or by email at mdragun@smcgov.org.
