Come to Bedwell-Bayfront Park on Saturday, May 7th from 12:00pm to 3:00pm to enjoy kite flying, face painting, snow cones, bounce houses and a hot dog lunch. If the wind is just right, you might see the return of “Mega Fish”, a 46’ giant kite. Volunteers from the Menlo Park Kiwanis will barbecue the hot dogs while Menlo Park staff and volunteers will help you assemble your kite and get it up in the air.
This is a free event, but for just $6 you can purchase and hot dog lunch and kite combo!
Kite Day is held in conjunction with San Mateo County’s annual Streets Alive! Parks Alive! festivities.
