Man Arrested For Possession Of Controlled Substances For Sales In Menlo Park
During a search of the vehicle, officers located over 40 individual packages containing controlled substances.

On November 27, 2020, at approximately 7:00 a.m., Menlo Park police officers responded to the Sharon Heights Shopping Center at 325 Sharon Park Drive, after store employees requested a welfare check of a man in a vehicle. When officers arrived, they found the man slumped over in the driver’s seat of the idling vehicle. Officers woke the man and observed narcotics paraphernalia in the vehicle.

During a search of the vehicle, officers located over 40 individual packages containing controlled substances. Approximately 15 grams of methamphetamine, 200 prescription pills, one ounce of other suspected narcotics, and over $4,000 in cash were found in the vehicle. Officers also found additional evidence in the vehicle that the subject was engaged in sales of narcotics. The man, identified as 39-year-old Scott Robert Fredrick of Redwood City, was arrested and booked into San Mateo County jail on charges related to possession of controlled substances for sales.
