Need something fun and free to do this summer with the kids? Join the City of Menlo Park as we celebrate Parks and Recreation Month in July through the Menlo Film Contest! The Menlo Film Contest encourages community members to voice their passion for parks by answering, “How do parks make life better in Menlo Park?” in a short 1-3 minute video then submitting it during the month of July. The City of Menlo Park is calling for families, non-profits, businesses, and social clubs to join the fun. Participants are encouraged to have fun, be silly and most all, be creative! No need to be a video expert, you can use a smartphone. Amateur and professional videos of all kinds are welcome and can win fabulous prizes! Need some help filming? Attend a FREE Film Workshop to hear some helpful shooting tips and have fun learning a new skill. All ages welcome!
