Menlo Park Library Goes Full “STEAM” Ahead for 2019
5 Months of Free Special Events and Classes

Through the end of May, the Menlo Park Library is amping up its free programming in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.
Both library locations will be offering several special events each month for various age groups. Evening and weekend school assembly-style events will include “instrument petting zoos,” a pop-up paleontology museum, and exciting science demonstrations, as well as the library’s eighth Science Night (March 28), which fills the Main Library with hands-on experiences from a variety of presenters.
Smaller-scale, classroom-style experiences will be available by registration. These include art lessons from professional cartoonists, a puppet-building workshop, explorations into scientific concepts, and “art around the world” looks at Japan, Russia, and Australia.
