Menlo Park Wants Input On Re-creating Recreation Blueprint
The city Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a meeting to and discuss and review the state of Menlo Park's rec facilities.

MENLO PARK, CA -- The city is gearing up for a new view of recreation in this Silicon Valley town.
The Parks and Recreation Facilities Master Plan is undergoing an update in which public opinion is widely suggested. Here's your chance to have a voice in the priorities relative to activities, exercise and R&R in Menlo Park.
The plan serves as a blueprint to guide future decisions about the local parks, open space and recreation system for the next 20 years.

With that in mind, the public is invited to join the Parks and Recreation Master Plan Oversight and Outreach Committee meeting Thursday starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Arrillaga Family Recreation Center.
City representatives will review the draft guidelines and recommendations developed following the past year of community outreach. The committee will also discuss the timeline and important project milestones.

An online survey has opened up Wednesday to those interested in providing input from the comfort of their computer or mobile device. The survey may be accessed until April 19 for gathering comments on what's important to the user of city parks and rec suggestions.
Visit menlopark.org/mymenloparks to complete the survey and provide comments.
