Parking Rules Tossed For Menlo Park During Holiday Season

In the spirit of the holiday season, the city of Menlo Park has provided a little leeway for residents to host gatherings.

MENLO PARK, CA -- Parking is fair game over the holidays in Menlo Park. The city would like to suspend residential overnight parking enforcement, so its citizenry may host guests, parties and gatherings.

The overnight parking ordinance will be tossed beginning Dec. 21 through Jan. 2, 2019.

Prepare your engines, as enforcement will resume at 2 a.m. on Jan. 3 by police parking officers.

If residents anticipate guests staying for a few more days, overnight parking permits can be purchased in person at the police department or online. All parked vehicles will receive one courtesy warning whether a permit is displayed or not. The purpose of the courtesy notice is to inform those who are unaware of the overnight parking ordinance.
