Peninsula Child Sexual Assault Suspect Accused On 20 Counts: SMC
The Menlo Park man was arrested on 20 counts of abusing children ranging in ages from 6 to 16 at his home in the unincorporated area.

MENLO PARK, CA — A 59-year-old Menlo Park man was arrested at his residence Wednesday on suspicion of sexual assault, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Department reported.
Randolph Haldeman was taken into custody by sheriff’s detectives with a $5 million arrest warrant as the suspect is accused of 20 counts of various sexual assault charges.
Since Haldeman’s initial arrest on July 25, six additional victims have come forward to report being sexually assaulted by him, the sheriff's office indicated. The victims’ ages at the time of the assaults ranged from 6- to 16-years-old. All the sexual assaults on the new charges were committed at Haldeman’s residence in unincorporated Menlo Park, according to a sheriff's report.
