Peninsula Man Arrested, Accused Of Youth Sex Crimes: MP Police

A girl told Menlo Park Police she was assaulted at a Redwood City gym by the owner earlier this week, officers reported.

MENLO PARK, CA — A 37-year-old Redwood City man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of sex crimes when earlier this week a juvenile told Menlo Park officers that she was the victim of assault by her personal trainer while at the Boxing Theory Gym, the police department reported.

The suspect identified as Tristan Arfi is the owner of the gym in the 100 block of Constitution Drive, police said.

Arfi was taken into custody and booked into the San Mateo County Jail on accusations of sexual penetration, oral copulation and lewd acts with another person under 16 years of age.

The Menlo Park Police Department is continuing this investigation due to the potential of additional unidentified victims.
