Menlo Park Police are searching for two males who are suspected of negligently discharging a firearm in the 800 block of Ivy Drive.
At about 12:30 pm Saturday, police responded to reports of three gunshots. Officers sent to the scene reported finding shell casings in the street. Two men at the scene reported that they had a gun shot at them.
Police suspect that the shooters are two men who were seen driving away in a “dark blue American made sedan.” It is not known why the shooters opened fire, although an investigation is underway.
The men face up to a year in prison if caught, assuming no injuries occurred, said Sergeant Matthew Ortega. No one has reported being injured.
