Turning 3 In A Most Unusual Year: Photo Of The Week

MENLO PARK, CA — Celebrating with a balloon bouquet as big as he is, little Hunter in Menlo Park has turned 3.

Hitting the "Big 3" is a big deal for children — maybe marking the first year they grasp the birthday concept, one typically accompanied by parties and presents.

So what a sweet snapshot this is at Hunter's family home as the little tyke celebrates his third during these trying, "quarantined" times, a photo submitted by Patch reader Viktoria Virginia Niederhofer.

(Just wish we could get a peek inside that Airstream — his father's sleek travel-trailer, transformed into a backyard home office. Is that a Bambi?)
