Catalytic converters have become a hot commodity for thieves because of their value, relative ease to steal, and their lack of identifying markings.

Catalytic converter thefts typically occur overnight in the late evening and early morning hours.

You can help prevent the theft of your catalytic converter by:

*** Parking your vehicle in your home garage when possible;

*** Using motion-sensing lights when parking in your driveway;

*** Parking in well-lit areas.
