Following the Pledge of Allegiance, Vice Mayor Anne Oliva presented service pins to Millbrae commissioners and committee members. Harry Aubright was presented a service pin for his 20 years of service on the Economic Vitality Advisory Committee. Myrna Warto was presented a service pin for her 15 years of service on the Community Enhancement Advisory Committee. Peter Yeh was presented a service pin for his 15 years of service on the Sister Cities Commission. Carol Krasilnikoff was presented a service pin for her 10 years of service on the Community Enhancement Advisory Committee. Maureen Davis was presented a service pin for her five years of service on the Planning Commission.

The Millbrae City Council presented a proclamation proclaiming the month of July as Parks and Recreation Month.

The City Council unanimously approved, on a vote of 5-0, items 5, 6, 7, and 8, on the consent calendar.

Item 5 – Receive and file monthly General Fund Financial Report for the period ending May 31, 2021.

Item 6 – Millbrae Recreation Center design and construction update.

Item 7 – Resolution approving and authorizing the execution of the fifth amendment to the grant agreement to support Millbrae Community Television (MCTV) and fifth amendment to agreement for broadcasting, video and channel management services by MCTV for a period of one year through June 30, 2022.

Item 8 – Resolution approving the seventh amendment to the agreement with Trent Sunahara Professional Services for strategic communications services for a period of three months through September 30, 2021.

Item 9 – Following further discussion, the City Council approved with amendments, on a vote of 5-0, a resolution to adopt a list of projects for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 to be funded by Senate Bill 1: The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017.

Item 10 – Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a lease agreement with the State of California Department of Transportation for the Airspace Lease between East Millbrae Avenue at the Northbound US 101 Ramp – was moved to a future meeting.
