A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter made a hard landing and tipped onto its side at San Francisco International Airport Monday afternoon, an airport spokesman said.
The helicopter landed on a tarmac at a Coast Guard facility at the north end of the airport at about 3 p.m., SFO spokesman Doug Yakel said. All crew members walked away from the landing. Yakel said he received reports that one suffered a minor injury and was receiving medical care.
