Heavy Rain, 33 MPH Winds In Millbrae: Work Week Forecast

MILLBRAE, CA — Peninsula residents can expect a strong dose of rain Monday — and part of Tuesday — before the skies clear, according to the latest forecast for the region.
"An approaching storm system is expected to be the strongest so far this season, producing periods of heavy rain and strong winds, especially later today and tonight," the National Weather Service said on Monday morning. "Showers will continue into Tuesday. Dry and mild weather is forecast for the second half of the week and into the upcoming weekend."

Rain. The rain could be heavy at times. High near 62. Breezy, with a south wind 7 to 12 mph increasing to 18 to 23 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Monday Night
Rain, mainly before 4am. The rain could be heavy at times. Low around 53. South southeast wind 8 to 13 mph becoming south southwest 15 to 20 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

A chance of rain before 10am, then a chance of showers after 10am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 59. West northwest wind 7 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
