The mural, designed by local muralist Brian Barneclo, was approved by the Millbrae Cultural Arts Advisory Committee and the Millbrae City Council .
The budget was set at $8,500. Total donations so far include the Millbrae Lions Club ($3,000), the Rotary Club of Millbrae ($1,000), the Millbrae Community Foundation ($2,000), and the City of Millbrae ($1,000).
