Man Accused Of Stealing Truck In Millbrae, Breaking Into School
Justin Huff was arrested after he smashed a window at an SMC school's computer lab, prosecutors say.

A 45-year-old transient from San Francisco has pleaded not guilty to several charges after allegedly stealing a truck in Millbrae and then breaking into Woodside Elementary School last week, San Mateo County prosecutors said Tuesday.
Justin Huff was arrested Friday after San Mateo County sheriff's deputies had responded around 6 a.m. to an alarm at the school on Woodside Road, according to the district attorney's office.
The deputies found that someone had smashed a window at the school's computer lab and left laptop computers and a projector stacked up outside in the hallway, prosecutors said.

In the back parking lot of the school, investigators found a stolen 2018 Chevrolet truck with property linked to Huff, including medications and a San Francisco County jail wristband with his name, on a seat. The truck had been stolen from Broadway Bistro in Millbrae, prosecutors said.
Deputies found Huff about a mile away with a computer and two iPads stolen from the school. They also determined he had broken the window at a restaurant on Woodside Road, according to the district attorney's office.

Huff was arrested and charged with vehicle theft, grand theft, burglary, providing false identity to an officer, and vandalism. He pleaded not guilty to all charges Monday, prosecutors said.
The county Private Defender Program was appointed to represent Huff, who remains in custody on a no-bail probation violation hold since he was on felony probation for a grand theft earlier this year. He is set to return to court on July 12 for a preliminary hearing, prosecutors said.
