The Millbrae City Council unanimously approved, items 5, 6, and 7 on the consent calendar.

Item 5 – Approval of street closures and fee waivers for the Millbrae Cultural Committee Mid-Autumn Festival and Open Market on September 18, 2021.

Item 6 – Approval of the Millbrae Library parking lot closure and fee waivers for the Japanese Culture Festival on October 3, 2021.

Item 7 – Resolution Approving a new Maximum Garbage Rate Schedule which would become effective July 1, 2021, in full accordance with the franchise agreement with the South San Francisco Scavenger Company.

Item 8 – The City Council, by a vote of 5-0, continued the Public Hearing on Central County Fire Department (CCFD) Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Master Fee Schedule for fire prevention services to the June 8, 2021.

Item 9 – The City Council received an informational report on the budget study session for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Capital Budget and Special Funds Operating Budget.

Item 10 – The City Council held a study session to review draft affordable housing regulations and fees and provided direction to staff.

Item 11 – The City Council unanimously approved, by a vote of 5-0, a resolution authorizing the filing of an application for funding assigned to Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), committing any necessary matching funds, and stating assurance to complete the Park Boulevard, Santa Teresa Way and San Anselmo Avenue Traffic Calming Quick Build Project.
