The City Council presented the Employee of the Year Commendation to Amalia Pena for her exceptional performance and more than 20 years of dedicated service to the City of Millbrae.

The City Council presented a commendation to San Mateo County Sheriff’s Deputy Edgar Manilla for his heroism in responding to an apartment fire and rescuing an adult and two toddlers, then returning to the burning building to rescue two elderly residents.

The City Council presented a commendation to San Mateo County Sheriff’s Deputy Jordan Zapata for his exceptional service in responding to a suicide attempt and crisis intervention to get the victim to surrender for medical care and mental health treatment.

Item 5 – Public Hearing for the Adoption of a Proposed Ordinance Amending Chapter 10.05 of the Millbrae Municipal Code to Adopt a Procedure for Imposing and Administering Specific Plan Reimbursement Fees, the City Council approved the item with the vote of 5-0.

Item 6 - The City Council received and informational report on the administration and maintenance of the Millbrae Community Garden.

Item 7 - The City Council approved, on a vote of 4-1, the appointment of William Chan to the Millbrae Planning Commission for a Partial Term Vacancy ending June 30, 2021.

Item 8 – The City Council unanimously passed a Resolution Approving the San Mateo County Operational Area Building Safety Inspection Program Mutual Aid Agreement.

Item 9 – The City Council unanimously approved a Resolution authorizing the City Manager to sign a Letter of Intent to participate in the San Mateo County Multijurisdictional Local Hazard Mitigation Plan.

Item 10 - The City Council received an informational report on the Metropolitan Transportation Commission Plan Bay Area 2050 Regionally Significant Projects.

Item 11 - The City Council received an informational report on Park Improvements Grant Status Update.
