Millbrae's Memorial Day Weekend Forecast: Warming Trend Coming

MILLBRAE, CA — Though Friday was predicted to be "unseasonably cool" with scattered showers, Peninsula residents and visitors can expect a warming trend to kick in this holiday weekend, forecasters said. High pressure is expected to build in the region, leading to warmer temperatures on Sunday through Tuesday especially.

A 20 percent chance of showers before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Saturday
Partly sunny, with a high near 61. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Saturday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 52. Breezy, with a west wind 18 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph.

Sunday
Sunny, with a high near 65. West wind 9 to 14 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.
