'Robust Warming Trend' Headed For Millbrae
Meanwhile, conditions ripe for wildfires is expected in the Bay Area. But things are expected to change drastically by the July 4 holiday.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — Weather around the Bay Area is about to get a lot warming as a "robust warming trend" starts Friday, forecasters said. The trend is expected to continue into Saturday thanks to some high pressure above the region and and offshore flow, according to the National Weather Service.
"Cooling will then take place Sunday and into early next week with temperatures falling to below seasonal averages for the Independence Day Holiday," the agency said.
Meanwhile, San Francisco Bay Area residents face increased danger from wildfires and heat-related illnesses Friday and Saturday as the weather gets hot and windier, according to the NWS.

Conditions ripe for wildfires will arise Friday afternoon and last until Saturday afternoon for the East Bay hills and North Bay mountains. Weather officials said any fires that spark have the potential to spread.

Sunny, with a high near 73. Breezy, with a west wind 11 to 16 mph increasing to 19 to 24 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph.

Mostly clear, with a low around 55. Breezy, with a west wind 21 to 26 mph decreasing to 9 to 14 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 37 mph.
