Woman Accosted, Robbed Of Backpack In Millbrae
The victim was shoved to the ground after she refused to turn over her belongings to two suspects, officials said.
MILLBRAE, CA — A female was pushed to the ground and robbed of her backpack by two individuals Friday night in Millbrae, according to authorities.
Deputies of the Millbrae Police Bureau were called at 10:07 p.m. for a strong-arm robbery logged in the area of Serra and Linden avenues, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office said.
The suspects reportedly approached the woman, asked for her backpack, and when she refused to comply was knocked to the ground and her backpack, that contained miscellaneous personal property and cash, was stolen by the pair, who then ran to a white, four-door sedan parked on Serra Avenue that drove north toward El Camino Real, officials said.

The victim was not injured in the incident, the agency said.
The suspects were described as an Hispanic female in her 20s, 5-feet, 4-inches tall with long, black, curly hair and a male, also in his 20s, and 5-feet, 9- inches tall.
