2 Arrested After Stolen Vehicle Found In Marin County
Automated license plate reader cameras in Sausalito led police to a stolen vehicle with the pair standing next to it.

SAUSALITO, CA — Two San Francisco men were arrested early Monday morning after automated license plate reader cameras in Sausalito led police to a stolen vehicle with the pair standing next to it.
Officers responded around 1:05 a.m. to the alert from the cameras about a vehicle entering Sausalito from Spencer Avenue that had been reported stolen from San Francisco on Friday.
Police searched the area and found the van parked in the 100 block of Spencer Avenue with Nicholas Tiller, 31, and Jeremie Barbe, 32, standing next to it. Inside the van was suspected stolen property, including bicycles, electric scooters and luggage, according to police.

Tiller and Barbe were both booked into Marin County Jail on suspicion of various offenses, including possession of the stolen vehicle and burglary tools.
