2013 Milley Awards - Call for Nominations

Nominations are being accepted now for the 2013 Milley Awards for outstanding creative achievement in the arts.

Nominees must have a significant Mill Valley connection – have lived or worked in the community, have received their education here, or some other strong association. They must have distinguished themselves in one or more of the following: arts – visual, musical, cinematic, dramatic, performing and or literary – and demonstrate an important body of work.

Nomination forms are required and available at Mill Valley City Hall, Mill Valley Library, Mill Valley Community Center, Depot Bookstore and Café, Marin Theater Company, Mill Valley Music, the O’Hanlon Center for the Arts and other arts-related locations. They are also available from the Milleys website.

The Milleys, sponsored by the City of Mill Valley Art Commission and produced for the last 18 years by a volunteer Milleys board of directors, are awarded through an open nomination process. The panel of judges changes annually.

The Awards will be presented at the 19th annual awards dinner on Sunday, October 20, 2013, at the Mill Valley Community Center.

Nominations must be received by 5 p.m. April 15, 2013, at Mill Valley City Hall, 26 Corte Madera Avenue, Mill Valley CA 94941. When City Hall is closed, leave nominations in mail slot on door.
