County of Marin Road Work at Tower Rd & E Blithedale Ave 

The County of Marin's road resurfacing project, which is part of the 2012 Measure A Road Rehabilitation Program, has begun and will continue through the entire month of October, 2012.

The roads being constructed near the City limits of Mill Valley include Tower Road, Shell Road, Meadow Road and Plaza Drive. The scope of work includes pavement grinding, asphalt concrete overlay, ADA curb ramps where sidewalks are present, traffic striping and adjustment to grade of existing utility boxes and covers.

The road resurfacing part of the work is tentatively scheduled to begin October 2, 2012, and residents in the area will receive a 3 day written notice from the County in advance of the road resurfacing work. During this time, the traffic signal at Tower Rd and E Blithedale Ave will be placed on a timer which will impact traffic flow.
