Caltrans Closes Several Lanes Of Highway 101 For Repairs
Caltrans plans to make emergency repairs on northbound U.S. Highway 101's bridge spanning Richardson Bay in Mill Valley.
MILL VALLEY, CA — Caltrans plans to make emergency repairs on northbound U.S. Highway 101's bridge spanning Richardson Bay in Mill Valley.
Lane and ramp closures will take place between June 1 and June 18, said Bart Ney, spokesperson for Caltrans' District 4 office.
The emergency repairs will require closures of lanes #3, #4 and #5 in the northbound direction of Highway 101, as well as ramp closures at the northbound Highway 101 Richardson Bay Bridge to the northbound Sausalito/Bridgeway on-ramp, as well as at Shoreline Drive to the northbound Richardson Bay on-ramp.

Ney said the closures are necessary to ensure safety of construction workers during the replacement of the expansion joints on the bridge.
