Coronavirus In Marin County: 47 Confirmed Cases In Southern Marin
There have been 240 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 186 documented recoveries in Marin, according to county data.
MILL VALLEY, CA — There were 240 confirmed cases of the coronavirus Sunday in Marin County. Of the cases, 47 were in the Southern Marin region encompassing Mill Valley, Marin City, Sausalito and Tamalpais Valley, according to county data.
An additional case of COVID-19 was reported Sunday evening, while the death toll remained at 13 in the county.
A total of 43 people have been hospitalized due to the virus since the county's first COVID-19 case was reported on March 8. There were no people hospitalized as of Sunday.

To date, the majority of confirmed cases and hospitalizations have been residents 50 or older. All coronavirus-related deaths have been residents 65 or older.
Marin has tested 3,858 people for COVID-19. This number includes tests conducted at the county's drive-thru testing site as well as tests conducted by commercial labs and hospitals.

There have been 186 documented COVID-19 recoveries, according to county data.

The county provides geographic regions for confirmed COVID-19 cases in Marin. The data is broken down to reflect the number of cases in six separate locations: San Rafael, Novato, San Anselmo and Fairfax, West Marin, Central Marin and Southern Marin. Only communities with more than 20,000 people are listed separately on the county's virus data website.
As of Sunday evening, San Rafael had 88 cases, Novato had 49 cases, San Anselmo and Fairfax had 14 cases, West Marin had less than 10 cases, Central Marin had 38 cases, and Southern Marin had 47 cases.
