Did You See the Feature on Mill Valley in Sunset Magazine?

The magazine highlights Tyler Florence, Sol Food, the Dipsea Stairs and more.

Sunset Magazine zeroed in on Mill Valley as an ideal day trip as part of its Best of the West section in the June 2013 issue.

“New eats and classic hikes make this village at the base of Mt. Tamalpais summer’s sweetest spot,” the article says.

Of course, that’s something locals are already well aware of, but a reminder or two never hurts.

The feature focuses on some of the main attractions like the Dipsea Stairs, the Tyler Florence Shop, and Sweetwater, where “Bob Weir comes in all the time.”

The article also mentions the popular Sol Food Puerto Rican restaurant that opened in February, and features photos of the large Limondada Frescas and the much-coveted housemade hot sauce.

Other highlights include wine on El Paseo’s outdoor patio, antiques from Moss & Moss and Moss & Daughters, and Benni’s as the perfect place for a “hoodie and a haircut.”

That’s certainly enough for a day trip, but what other attractions did Sunset Magazine miss? Let’s hear some of your favorite spots in the city, and maybe next time they’ll make the cut!
