King Tides Close Park-And-Ride Lot In Mill Valley
A large section of the Manzanita Park and Ride Lot in Mill Valley will remain closed through Christmas Day.

MILL VALLEY, CA – A large section of the Manzanita Park and Ride Lot, located at the junction of U.S. Route 101 and State Route 1 in Mill Valley, will remain closed through Christmas Day because of flooding resulting from "king tides," Caltrans said.
"King tides" are higher than normal tides that often take place during a new or full moon.
Caltrans cautions that king tides and heavy rainfall may necessitate further closures through January. In addition, the adjacent sections of State Route 1 may be subject to periodic flooding during that time, Caltrans said.
