MILL VALLEY, CA — Feel like take a grueling hike through one of the world’s hilliest cities that’s all gain and no pain?

The Mill Valley Historical Society has event planned for next month that just might be right for you.

An avid urban hiker who decided to document all of San Francisco’s public stairways when the pandemic eliminated the possibility of travel last year will share her experience in a virtual meeting next month.

Alexandra Kenin will discuss what traversing the 1,000 or so stairways she’s found so far at the MVHS’s June 2 First Wednesday program.

Kenin has authored two guidebooks: Urban Trails: San Francisco (2016) and Urban Trails: East Bay (2020).
