​Mill Valley Launches Youth Advisory Committee To City Council

Mill Valley officials are launching a Youth Advisory Committee to the City Council to promote youth's opinions in local government.

MILL VALLEY, CA — Mill Valley officials are launching a Youth Advisory Committee to the City Council to promote youth's opinions in local government.

The committee will identify youth-related issues, evaluate existing programs and services, and make recommendations for added support for young people in Mill Valley.

The committee will be comprised of middle and high school age members who represent a broad cross-section of student groups. Applicants must be students who live within Mill Valley city limits or currently attend Tamalpais High School or Mill Valley Middle School.

Selection of committee members is in September and the committee's final report to the City Council is in May.
