Mill Valley Library Hosts Virtual Poetry Book Launch

MILL VALLEY, CA — The Mill Valley Public Library will hold a virtual poetry book launch later this week featuring several renowned writers.

The virtual launch of “Why to These Rocks: 50 Years of Poetry from the Community of Writers,” will be held Thursday on Zoom from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Pulitzer Prize winners Forrest Gander, Robert Hass, Sharon Olds, and Greg Pardlo will join Brenda Hillman, among others, in reading a poem from this collection.

The evening of poetry and celebration will include musical introduction performed by poet Cornelius Eady.
