Camaal moved to the United States in 2002 to help provide for his family.

He was diagnosed with chronic cirrhosis in 2019 and told he only had a few years to live.

“He still worked tirelessly as a dishwasher across California, and he joined us at PizzaHacker right as we opened our new location,” Simpson said.

“While working with us, he never mentioned his illness, and his final shift was two days before he passed away; he was diligent and without complaint.

“Now we are asking for your help, to give back the hard work that he gave us, to return him to his family, back to his Mom, back to his home.”
