Driver Fatally Pinned By Garbage Truck In Marin County
A man driving a Mill Valley Refuse Service truck was killed in a rollover crash in Corte Madera.
CORTE MADERA, CA — A man driving a Mill Valley Refuse Service truck was killed early Thursday morning in a rollover crash in Corte Madera.
Officers responded to the crash at 5:42 a.m. in the 1100 block of Meadowsweet Drive, where they found the driver pinned under the rolled-over truck, according to the Central Marin Police Authority. The driver, who was the only occupant of the truck, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man's name was withheld pending family notification.

Authorities contacted the regional office of the California Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Cal/OSHA). An investigator responded to the scene, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
